Review for
      "2008" by Mystphile

The writting style of "2008" is a good one, even though the characters are off character from time to time. Then again, this story is set in the future, where Mulder and Scully have lived their respective lives apart from each other for the last eight years. In this time they obviously have changed.
Bearing that in mind, is the story a wonderful 'what if'fiction. Even though, the author describes the new lives of the two in detail, it is not too much of such to get the reader bored. It has just the right amount to keep one interrested, even in such an old theme as the get together of the two characters. In between their dance the reader can also see what kind of reading s/he should indulge him/herself after that one, because there are some discussions of some classic books in this one- as the author claims in the beginning of the text.
Overall, all I can say, if you are a shipper, you should not miss this one. Even more so if you liked the movie "Bend it Like Beckham." Especially since, this story is, as the film, slowly moving, not hasting, but giving you all the more joy in reading it. Despite the slow pace the story still does not get boring. Well done Mystphile!
